The home of Mahjong in the Sun.
Really Good Beer Stop in Nocatee holds an extra-special place in the Mahjong in the Sun story. It’s where our community comes together week after week, where new players walk through the doors and find their table, and where countless games, laughs and new friendships have begun.
A huge thank you to owners Matt + Brandy Lawrence for welcoming our idea from the very beginning and opening their doors to give us a place to grow this community. Their support has allowed Really Good Beer Stop to become home to our Friday Mahj Club, Sunset Mahj Wednesdays, Mahjong Marathons and so many other gatherings.
And an extra-special shoutout to Arielle, who is there to open the doors right at noon every Friday for our eager Mahj’ers — and keeps the beer, prosecco + pizza coming on demand while the tiles are clicking. She has truly become part of our Mahjong in the Sun family.
We’re incredibly grateful to the entire Really Good Beer Stop team for giving our community a place to gather, play and connect — and we’re proud to call RGBS our Mahjong in the Sun home base.
Bounce for Love + The Shanty & Co.
Helping us bring the Mahjong in the Sun brand — and our events — to life.
Karina, Will and the team at Bounce for Love have become such a special part of the Mahjong in the Sun community. From creating custom branded backdrops at The Block Jax and Really Good Beer Stop to elevating our events at The Yards, Margaritaville Jacksonville Beach and beyond, they continue to help us turn our gatherings into memorable, photo-worthy experiences while getting the Mahjong in the Sun brand out into the community.
Karina and Will are also the owners of The Shanty & Co. in St. Augustine, a beautiful event space where we're excited to bring more Mahjong in the Sun experiences as we continue growing our St. Augustine community.
They're an incredible team — creative, responsive, helpful and always willing to jump in to make an idea happen. We're incredibly grateful to have Bounce for Love and The Shanty Co. as Community Partners and can't wait for everything still to come.
Let’s Cheese Jax
Our go-to for serving up something special around the mahjong table.
When you’re playing mahjong, the food has to be just as easy to enjoy as it is delicious — and Let’s Cheese Jax has quickly become our go-to for elevating our events with the perfect mahjong-friendly bites.
We were first introduced to owner Rebecca through a charity event we helped host, and it didn’t take long before we had her on speed dial! She joined us at The Yards and then helped make our first-ever Mahjong in the Sun tournament at Really Good Beer Stop even more special.
Rebecca brings her beautiful custom charcuterie cart directly to our events and personally creates and serves individual charcuterie plates for our guests. The cart adds an incredible ambiance to the room, but it’s Rebecca’s attention to detail, hospitality and genuine care for every guest that truly sets the experience apart.
We’re honored to consider Rebecca an extension of the Mahjong in the Sun team and are so grateful to have Let’s Cheese Jax as a Community Partner. We can’t wait to have her — and that gorgeous cart — at many more Mahjong in the Sun events to come.
