Meet Laura Gainor
Laura Gainor is the Founder of Pickleball in the Sun® and Mahjong in the Sun®, two lifestyle brands built around the idea that the best experiences bring people together through play, travel and community.
A longtime leader in the pickleball industry, Laura has spent more than a decade helping grow the sport through marketing, media, events and destination storytelling. Her work has taken her to premier resorts and pickleball destinations across the country, including Saddlebrook Resort, which she recently featured in Pickleball Magazine.
In 2026, Laura launched Mahjong in the Sun®, bringing the same community-driven approach to the rapidly growing world of American Mahjong. What started with weekly gatherings in Northeast Florida has quickly grown into leagues, tournaments, resort experiences and destination getaways.
